Atlanta, GA. – Chub Frank and the 1* team fresh off a second place finish at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, TX. last weekend are set to race with The World of Outlaws Late Model Series which will make its first of two appearances of the 2004 race season at Lernerville Speedway Friday, April 23rd with their famed Dirty Dozen drivers will make the trip to Sarver, Pennsylvania for the nonstop, action-packed Friday night event.
This Friday nights feature, some of the best drivers in the country will be competing for their share of the more then $40,000 purse. The event will feature time trials, heat races, dash and a heart-stopping 50-lap $10,000 to win main event. The gates will open at 5:00, time trials will start at 7:15 and the racing begins at 8:00. Ticket information for the April 23rd event can be found on the Lernerville Speedway web site at www.lernerville.com, or call Lernerville Speedway directly at (724) 353-1511.
Then on Saturday, April 24th Chub and the rest of the Dirty Dozen will travel to Hagerstown, MD. for the Stanley Schetrompf Memorial and will kick off the inaugural visit of the World of Outlaws Late Models Series. The World of Outlaws has the best late model drivers in the country following their circuit in 2004. Leading the "Dirty Dozen" of the World of Outlaws into Hagerstown will be Rick Eckert, Chub Frank, and other Dirty Dozen drivers include, Bart Hartman, Billy Moyer, Steve Francis, Dan Schlieper, Dale McDowell, Rick Aukland, Darrell Lanigan, Scott Bloomquist and the newest member, Clint Smith, who replaced Wendell Wallace last month as well as rookie of the year contender Tim McCreadie.
Up next for Chub Frank Racing will be a doubleheader the following weekend for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series as the Dirty Dozen head into Tennessee & Georgia on Friday, April, 30 at Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, TN and then on Saturday night at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Ga. for more information on either of these two tracks can be found at www.smokymtnspeedway.homestead.co or www.northgeorgiaspeedway.com.
