“Oktober Racefest 2003” Closes Tri-City Speedway Season

Granite City, IL – Tri-City Speedway’s 2003 racing season comes to an end Saturday, October 11 with "Oktober RACEFEST 2003."

Drivers from throughout the St. Louis area are expected to compete in this season finale. "Oktober RACEFEST 2003" will feature five classes of racecars, including Late Models, Sportsmen, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Hornets on Tri-City’s tight quarter-mile bullring. Several area track champions and their closest competitors will gather to battle it out one last time before the season officially closes until Spring, 2004.

Spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 6 p.m. Adult tickets: $12.00; Students (11-17): $5.00; Children (10 & under): FREE.

No NASCAR membership or car entry fee is required for participants. All pit passes $25.00.

Tri-City Speedway is located one-half mile south of I-270 on Illinois Route 203 south (exit 4).
