I thought this was a cute story...

My wife brought my two sons, Jacob 8 and Luke 3, to the race last night. My oldest thought it was cool that there was a race car driver in my class with the name Jacob. That's who he decided to root for (plus Dad because he thought he needed to!) He was more excited that you finished 3rd than watching his dad get a top 10!:) Atfer the race I told Jacob that I came in 9th and he said "Yeah, but Jacob came in 3rd!" I thought it was kinda funny. Last night I blew my motor and don't know when I'll be up and running again but he still wants to go to the race so he can watch "Jacob" race. You've got a new fan in my 8 year old! I'll be there in the stands rooting for Jacob with him. Congrats to you for last night!

Hey Brian...Jackie here! So sorry to hear that My Jake had a monopoly on you'r Jake's attention...LOL But I'm sure that you're still his Hero! I can't wait for Jake to read your post on here...he's gonna be thrilled to know he's getting a fan base...haha!

And REALLY sorry to hear about blowin' the motor...man that bites! I'll miss getting to wish ya luck for the night, I guess I feel a kin to ya since we both started this racin' thing at the same time. :) Hope you get it up and running real soon and that your back out there with us quickly!!!

Don't know if ya noticed last night...the red plastic bumper out there on the track....ummm, it was mine! LOL:eek: My own daughter took it off my car, at least that what Pop said...I didn't even feel it when it happened! But the funny part was, as I drove past it on the next lap..I thought to myself..."gee that looks familiar..I've washed and waxed one just like"! Then I realized that I'm the only car out there with RED bumpers!! LOL Oh well, at least the only thing I lost was a bumper, and I did finish the race...so I'm not gonna complain!

Again, hope you get your car running again quickly! And tell you son that Jake's mom thinks it's great he's rooting for him!!! :D
 
I saw your bumper out there and thought it was yours but I wasn't sure. At least you didn't get spun. But...maybe that's what she was trying to do but it didn't work! LOL;) Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you after the race. I'm going to pick up a new motor on Wednesday so hopefully I'll be out there in a few weeks. I'm going on vacation this weekend so I can't be there.
 
hey I was just passin you high and you got to close... or something like that.. lol. BUT your okay! so thats all that matters and the bumper is back on so lets just call it a learning experience :)
 
Lighten up Jess...Brian was just funnin' with me about you trying to spin me out....I KNOW IT WASN't ON PURPOSE!!! $hit happens! I know for a fact thatI'm the last person out there that you want to bump, hit, or hurt... Think back to the first night...when we barely touched doors...LMAO. I've been cracked 2 other times since that first night, and worse than what we did. I'm not a wuss...I can handle it! Don't take it so seriously Kiddo !

Speaking of bumpin and stuff Jessica....do you remember sitting in staging and you nudged Noz??? And then do you remember the "nudge" you got from behind?? Ummm, that would be from me. Totally an accident...we were headed out onto the track, and moving...next thing I know you bumped him and then I hit you....sorry! But like I said $hit happens... and isn't it you and Pop that says..."if you ain't bumpin...you ain't racin'?" :D:):D:p:p
 
that wasnt just a nudge to Noz, we were going out onto the track and someone stopped infront of him and he slammed on the breaks and i did to and BAM! I ran into him and BAM! you ran into me. I was like woah now, lets not mess up this pretty black paint lol..

And I know he was kiddin, I see him out there, hes got some great potential out there. I wish him the best hopefully a top ten finish in points this year man!
