16th Oldani Memorial for UMP DIRTcar Modifieds Returns for 2 Days Labor Day Weekend

The 16th running of the Bill Oldani Memorial for U.M.P. Modifieds returns to the DuQuoin State Fair for two days on September 6 and Labor Day September 7. Twenty-nine cars from Illinois and Missouri entered the 2008 Oldani Memorial and over 30 entries including fifteen drivers from Central and Southern Illinois are expected for the 2009 version.

John O'Neal, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri took the lead on lap 16 last year from Jesse Snyder of Robinson and motored to his first mile dirt track win.
Snyder held on for second while Emmett Groves of nearby Charleston, Missouri was third.
