after the past weekend of cold and snowy weather, there are 8 Illinois FOOTBALL CHAMPS:

1A Galena Pirates
2A Iroquois West Raiders *
3A Stillman Valley
4A Addison Driscoll
5A Joliet Catholic
6A Carmel Mont
7A Oswego
8A Park Ridge- Lockport

CONGRATS TO ALL THE CHAMPS!!!!!
 
Thanks for posting that! Congrats to all of them. Wished Roxana had done better..but they had a really good year too.
 
How bout some love for the MO-Side:

Football State Champs:

1A) Marionville beat Princeton 19-0
2A) Centralia beat Lawson 42-9
3A) Harrisonville beat a strong Ste. Genevieve 35-0
4A) Kearney beat Ladue 43-0
5A) Park Hills beat Webster Groves 34-20
6A) Blue Springs beat Hazelwood Central 53-0

No STL teams won the state championship this year in football, BUT! the STL again dominated the state soccer finals (like every year!!!!). SLUH won with 17 Seniors on their squad and they beat a very young, but extremely talented Chaminade team (who had 4 outstanding freshman....one of them being a Jr. Chewy!)
