Can anyone tell me the date the Mt. Vernon Raceway opens? And are they going to have someone else run it this year? Thanks

Looks like Mt. Vernon is in trouble. A promoter is badly needed to turn things around, and I'll be surprised if big Tim is the answer. :eek:
 
Hey Bandit if i do recall Tim helped Tri-City turn around big time before Gundaker bought it. Tim will do a fine job of runnin it. There complete schedule for the year can be found on dirttrackinsider.com.

If half the rumors that we've been hearing on here are true, MVN is in trouble in the sense that this could be the last season before development (i.e. the highway interchange/ hospital rumors) closes it.

But that doesn't mean that Herbst can't do a good job this year in promoting the track, even if it is curtains after this season.
