2010 POWRi 600cc Outlaw Micro Series Schedule

Millstadt, IL - The 2010 O'Reilly POWRi presented by Lucas Oil 600cc Outlaw Micro Sprint calendar has 31 events on its schedule. The most ever in series history. There are 10 tracks in 4 different states slated with the addition of Shepp's Speedway in Alexander, IL and Solomon Valley Raceway in Beloit, KS new to the schedule. The latter of the two will host the inaugural Chad McDaniel Memorial on Friday June 4th and Saturday June 5th. This will be a co-sanction event with ASCS2, IMS, Miniakota and Jayhuskers sanctioning bodies with POWRi hosting the event. Chad had competed in 600cc micro sprints before moving on to midgets.

The season kicks off once again at the Southern Illinois Center in Duquoin, IL on Sat. March 27th and ends on Sat. October 9th at Belle-Clair Speedway. Belle-Clair Speedway once again will be the anchor track of POWRi with 7 events highlighted by two, two day events beginning with the Race 4 Life on May 29th and 30th and also an anniversary event celebrating 75 years of
racing at the dirt bull-ring on June 24th and 25th.

Macon Speedway will also host the Micro Sprints a total of 7 times this season highlighted by Tony Stewart night on June 15th and returning the same week for the POWRi Micro Nationals on June 18th and 19th.

The POWRi Micro Sprints will be on hand at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN for the annual Hut 100 featuring the POWRi and USAC National Midgets as well as joining the card for the Gold Crown Midget Nationals at Tri-City Speedway on Sept. 30th, Oct. 1st and 2nd.

Three time series champion Derek King of Vienna, IL will begin his title defense against strong competition from Andrew Felker of Carl Junction, MO, Joe B. Miller of Millersville, MO, Jacob Patton of Bethalto, IL, Ryan Guyett of Springfield, IL and the Graybeal brother's, Brandon and Caleb of Leroy, IL. King won 5 main events last season on the way to his third crown in a row.
