the 3rd annual street stock fall brawl is set for october 23rd at clarksvile speedway in clarksville tn.
it will again pay $2000.00 to win and $100.00 to start.
last years race saw 69 cars enter with 8 states being represented and dwayne "coondog" waid keeping the win in the volunteer state in the eugine groce entry.
rules will remain the same as last year with the exception of no wedge nosed cars as something else is in the works for them,

1 3200lbs after race

2 open motor, no aluminum heads or block, no dry sump

3 must be street type cars , no clip cars , alum bodies ok but must be "stock appearing"----no wedge bodies

4 10" wheels max any tire

5 racing srings and shocks allowed,can be relocated,no coilovers. Stock type rear suspension,factory 4 link can have heim and tube trailing arms,leaf spring cars can havr sliders

6 no quickchange rearends,9" floaters ok

7 bert and brinn type transmission allowed

8 gas only

this race is for the clip/snout cars that can't run the above race. Wedge body cars will have to run in this race

rules

1 2750lbs after race

2 14" wide wheels any tire

3 open motors,no aluminum block,heads ok,must be wet sumped motors

4 must have atleast a stock front clip,no full tube chassis!

5 any rear suspension,example--4 link,3 link,swing arm,leaf spring. Coilovers ok

6 must have stock bottom control arms in front.if not a weight penilty could be added.

7 motor setback stock up to 6" max from balljoint,further back will result a weight penilty

duck river speedway has now teamed up with clarksville speedway for there annual street stock fall brawl.thanks to jim and tim at duck river speedway there is now a chance for one lucky driver to win $2000.00 on friday and then come to clarksville and win another $2000.00 on saturday,making it a $4000.00 dollar weekend for street stocks. Rules will be the same at both tracks,the original clarksville fall brawl rules,and both tracks are 1/4 clay ovals. I'll talk to a few guys from around the St.Louis area. I would like to make a trip down there and run. But Im gonna have to find some big boy tires for it or use my buddies bomber with my motor for the big money races. Sounds like a good deal to me and I plan on making the trek. Jon Ripperda
