i heard of a new way to test your coolant for flushing. it doesn't matter if its green,red,yellow,or whatever. use a multi-meter set it to volts dc put one lead on a metel part of the rad. like the fins and the other in the coolant it self. if it reads .2 its ok .5 is marginal and.7 is bad. most 5 year coolant won't go that far. i tested something fairly new the other day and it read .4 so i don't know how well this method works.
