The 6th annual ATV Nationals will be held this weekend at Big River Sand Drags. There will be a test and tune on Friday night from 6 - 10 p.m. On Saturday, gates open at 3 p.m. with time trials beginning at 4 p.m. for all classes. Registration will end at 6 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at 1 p.m. with time trials at 2 p.m. with racing starting at 4. For more information phone (573) 358-5009.
Junior ATV and four classes of ATVs..... Unlimited, Super Modified, Modified and Super Stock. Entry fees for all regular classes is $35 and $25 for Juniors. Double-Elimination.
Super Modified (5.30 ET and faster) and Super Stock (5.31 and slower) will race on Saturday.
Unlimited (5.19 et and faster) and Modified (5.20 and slower) will race on Sunday.
Top two from Saturday's classes and top two from Sunday's classes will compete in the Overall Championship on Sunday.
There will be a Fast 16 on Saturday, running a Pro staggered tree. $40 entry fee with 80-percent payback. Single-elimination.
