$7000.00 cash and prizes up for grabs, 2 tracks, 2 nights. WOW!!!!!!
A weekend for the ages will be here on July 19 and July 20, 2013. Tons of money and prizes will be up for grabs at Cerro Gordo Speedway in Cerro Gordo, Illinois on Friday July 19th, and Saturday July 20th at Ealeyville Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Illinois.
Friday night at Cerro Gordo Speedway the Unilli Money Series will take the third leg of the series to the track. The winner will walk away with $1000.00 just like Ty England and Chad Ziegler have done already. Second through fifth will walk away with $500.00 each. This race is for the Adult Clone 380. It has a Unilli tire rule, but a no kart minimum. Also racing with the Unilli Money Series will be a full racing program which includes Opens, Jr1, Jr3, Stock, Wing Sprints, Cadets and several different weight classes on Adult Clones. Cerro Gordo Speedway offers a 70% payback on all its classes excluding Cadets. There will be all sorts of prizes up for grabs as well, such as: Karting Oil, Gift Certificates to multiple businesses and much more. Cerro Gordo Speedway is located on the Piatt County Fairgrounds in Cerro Gordo, Illinois. Gates open at 4pm, Hot Laps at 6:30pm and Racing around 7pm.
Then the weekend shifts gears and heads up the road just a few miles to Ealeyville Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Illinois. They will host the first ever Cash Classic. Ealeyville Speedway, who rarely runs for any money prizes, will take a back seat and allow their track to become the centerpiece of the weekend. The head-liner of the day will be the Adult Pro Clone 380. They will be racing for a $1200 purse. It will pay $500 to the winner and pay back as far as tenth place. There will also be a $100.00 Missile Cuts Hard Charger Award to the kart who passes the most karts in the feature. There will be a no kart minimum and an unheard of open tire rule for this type of purse. The Clones will not only be the ones looking for a nice payday. The Opens, Wing Sprint Karts, 6.5 Opens, and Adult Clone 380 will be fighting for a $400.00 Purse in each division. There will be an open tire rule and only a 10 kart minimum for these divisions. Also on the racing program for the day: racing for trophies will be Jr1, Jr3, Cadets, and Jr Wing. Then the highlight of the day that EVERY Class is eligible for - a $500.00 contingency! One kart from every class will have an opportunity to win the contingency. For every $25 spent at SyntheticLubeStore.com or at the official AMSOIL Dealer of the Ealeyville Speedway, Gabe Gerberding will give you an entry. The winner or first finisher with at least one entry will be entered into the contingency drawing. All of winners entries will be submitted, therefore increasing their chances. After the last feature is ran, one entry will be drawn. If entry drawn was a feature winner in their respected class they will receive the $500.00. If the entrant drawn was not the winner in there division but indeed was the top finisher with entries then they will receive a $250 contingency. RECEIPT MUST BE PROVIDED BEFORE ENTRIES ARE SUBMITTED. There will be prizes such as tire prep, shirts, hats, gift certificates and more up for grabs throughout the day. Proud Sponsors of the Cash Classic are Missile Cuts, Highside Graphix, ARC Racing, AMSOIL, SyntheticLubeStore.com, and A.J.'s Services. Ealeyville Speedway gates open at 10am, Hot Laps start at 2pm and racing at 3.
