actualy they did make cobras starting in 1980 i use to have one and on the title it said cobra same for the cars bages

1965-1970, they were Shelby Mustangs. 1976 was the first year of the Mustang Cobra. the Cobra package (Ford option number 933) was dropped in 1981, and the Cobra name lived on mustangs in Canada from at least 1987 as a stripe package, and was dropped until 1993. Between 1993 and 2004 a Cobra has been manufactured every year except for 2000 and 2002

Cobra 'package' = '76-'81
Cobra GT (Canada only) = '84-'92
SVT Cobra (exc. Canada) = '93+

Still for sale guy never came through and called to come look. the hood on this car is 450 alone if you didnt wanna make it a drag car you could easily part it out for 1600 to 2000 i just dont have the time
