8th Annual Schoenfeld Mid-America Street Stock Championship
Thursday through Saturday, September 18-20
BATESVILLE AR. Grass Roots racers will have an opportunity to bank one of the biggest paydays in Street Stock racing September 18-20, 2003. The Batesville Speedway will once again host the 8th Annual Schoenfeld Mid-America Street Stock Championship. Over $50,000 will be on the line that weekend, and the winner go home with $10,000.
The field of cars will get the opportunity to practice on Thursday, September 18 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Gates will open at 3:00pm and the time trial portion of qualifying will begin at 8:00pm. All cars will be lined up for their heat event from the results of the time trials.
On Friday, September 19, gates will open at 3:00pm and heat races will be run at 7:00pm. On Saturday, September 20, gates will once again open at 3:00pm, and Last Chance Qualifying Events will begin at 7:00pm. The 50 Lap Championship Feature will follow.
Pit passes will be $20.00 on Thursday, then $25.00 per person on Friday and Saturday. Grandstand admission will be free on Thursday, with adult tickets being $10.00 on Friday and Saturday. Kid tickets, ages 6-11, will be $3.00 both nights, and kids 5 and under will be admitted free.
Entry Fee for the event will be $100.00 if entry is postmarked before September 15. Entries after that will be $150.00. The purse for this event is guaranteed, regardless of number of cars entered.
