Haubstadt, IN - August 26, 2014 - The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series has made a promotional decision related to this weekend’s races at Brownstown Speedway and Tri-State Speedway.

With this being the first opportunity for the series to race at Brownstown Speedway, officials have decided to add an invitational flair to the promotion. The series is inviting drivers who are not licensed with MSCS to consider running Saturday at Brownstown and check out the series. The temporary permit fee of $20 will be waived for the first 10 unlicensed drivers to register with MSCS to race.
Drivers are advised to arrive early and register promptly to take advantage of the offer.

The offer will also be in effect Sunday night at Tri-State Speedway.
The first ten drivers requiring a permit to race with MSCS will have the fee waived. Drivers who do not make the feature field will receive $100 in tow money, as usual, to offset expenses.

This offer presents some real opportunities for sprint car racers.
The season is winding down. MSCS officials have been looking for the best time to do an invitational race. Drivers will have a holiday weekend in which they can travel. Racing at the two tracks also doubles the opportunity. Drivers can see firsthand what the series is about and has to offer for the rest of this season or in planning for next season.

MSCS continues to look for ways to increase the interest and involvement in 410 non-wing sprint car racing. The Labor Day Weekend Invitational and Challenge is there for the taking! The feature pays
$2,000 to win on Saturday night and $3,000 to win on Sunday night.
