Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (April 23, 2007) – After the ASCS Mid-Atlantic Region takes on the ASCS Southern Tour Saturday night at Virginia Motor Speedway, Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, PA, will host the first of six scheduled local shows for the Mid-Atlantic Region.
The $1,200-to-win ASCS Mid-Atlantic Local shows will award track points only, but no points towards the inaugural ASCS Mid-Atlantic Regional championship.
Pat Cannon of Etters, PA, bested a field of 19 to win the inaugural ASCS Mid-Atlantic Region event at Susquehanna Speedway Park on Sunday night.
Pit gates open at 3:30 p.m. with grandstands opening at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Heat races are set to go green at 6:00 p.m.
