When the Stacker2® Xtreme DirtCar Series along with the Northern Xtreme DirtCar Series sanctions the annual “Masters” event at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond,WI the week-end of June 17-19, the three day extravaganza of dirt track racing will be action packed on and off the track. A myriad of activities are planned for the $82,000 purse week-end when fans descend on the high-banked 3/8ths dirt speedway.

A NASCAR driving legend; a chance for one fan to walk away $1,000 richer; TV coverage, scores of other promotional events and more will all be part of one of the most prestigious events not only in the upper Midwest but across the nation as well. The 2004 edition of the “Masters” will include a complete separate program of Ringers Gloves Time Trials, MSD Ignition/JE Pistons/Bert Transmission Heat Races, “B” Mains and the YJ Stinger Extreme Energy Drink Dash prior to a $10,000 to win – 50 lap feature event for the Friday and Saturday portions of the “Masters” week-end. The driver with the best average finish in the two main events will be declared as the winner of the “Masters” and will receive a $5,000 bonus.

And an extra incentive for raceteams who do not regularly compete with the Stacker2® Xtreme DirtCar Series but are considered a “local/regional” racer at a track that is hosting a Stacker(2) XDCS event will begin at Cedar Lake Speedway. A “loaner” program for tires and wheels has been established for those racers to better help them the opportunity to compete against some of the nations best dirtcar drivers.

“What we are starting at Cedar Lake Speedway for the ‘Masters’ is a loaner program for wheels and tires.”, stated Xtreme DirtCars,Inc. owner/president Doug Bland. “This program will be for the ‘local/regional’ racer who may only race with us whenever we are at a track they regularly compete at or is in their region. It’s expensive to race these cars. This loaner program will help those raceteams with their costs and give them an opportunity to compete against some of the best talent in the nation. The loaner program is a collaborative effort between the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., Weld Wheels and Xtreme DirtCars,Inc. The loaner program offers two front Goodyear Eagle Racing Tires and two front Weld Wheels to the first 25 ‘local/regional’ raceteams who pre-register for a Stacker2® Xtreme DirtCar Series sanctioned event. The ‘loaner’ program will start at Cedar Lake Speedway’s ‘Masters’ event, with a different twist. But, the ‘loaner’ program, as it is drawn up, will be in effect for the remainder of the 2004 racing season.”

The “loaner” program for the “Masters” event at Cedar Lake Speedway the “loaner” program will be a bit different than the actual program according to Cedar Lake Speedway PR Director Steve Kaufman. “We are certainly excited to have the Stacker2® Xtreme DirtCar Series along with the Northern Xtreme DirtCar Series sanctioning the ‘Masters’ and we are glad to be the first track to be involved with the ‘loaner’ program.”, stated Kaufman. “With the announcment of the ‘loaner’ program being so close to the event we at Cedar Lake Speedway are going to sweeten the pot for the ‘local/regional’ racer. Not only will the first 25 drivers that qualify for the ‘loaner’ program receive two front Goodyear Eagle Racing Tires and two front Weld Wheels from Xtreme DirtCars, Cedar Lake Speedway will buy the left rear Goodyear Eagle Racing Tire. We are also going to offer the same program to any ‘local/regional’ racer over the 25 car limit of the ‘loaner’ program. With this type of incentive the ‘local/regional’ racer only has to buy one tire, the right rear, in order to compete and through CLS and Xtreme he keep’s his expenses down. We want the ‘local/regional’ raceteam to be a part of the big events. So, does Doug. This ‘loaner’ program does just that.”

The “expanded loaner” program at Cedar Lake Speedway will only be for that event. All other Stacker(2) XDCS sanctioned events will carry the 25 car limit for the “loaner” program. Raceteams eligible for the “loaner” program must contact the the Xtreme DirtCars,Inc. office to pre-register for an event and take part in the “loaner” program. Raceteams may either phone 704-487-1169 or e-mail to xdcs@xtremedirtcars.com to pre-register for an event.

Raceteams are reminded that the Goodyear Eagle Racing Tire X-300 is the ONLY tire allowed for competition in the Stacker2® XDCS/NXDCS sanctioned “Masters” at Cedar Lake Speedway. Raceteams with questions or to order tires should phone Mike Franklin, Xtreme DirtCars,Inc. Goodyear Eagle Racing Tire program co-ordinator, at 704-487-1169.

The 2004 edition of the “Masters” will open Thursday with a practice session for the Stacker2® XDCS and NXDCS teams and a full racing program for the WISSOTA Modifieds, Supers and Street divisions. Friday and Saturday will feature two complete programs of Ringers Gloves Time Trials, Heat Races, “B” Mains and the YJ Stinger Extreme Energy Drink Dash prior to the $10,000 to win – 50 lap feature events. After the two nights of racing have been completed the driver with the best average finish in the two main events will be declared the overall 2004 “Masters” winner and receive a $5,000 bonus. The WISSOTA Late Models will compete in heat races Friday and hold their “B” Main events and feature on Saturday program.

NASCAR great Bill Elliott will be on hand at Cedar Lake Speedway Friday evening to meet the fans and sign autographs and will also be competing in the opening night of the “Masters”. Elliott, voted the most popular driver in NASCAR for year upon year, will sign autographs for the first 500 people starting at 4:30pm. Persons interested in purchasing a ticket from a limited supply of VIP Suite tickets to enjoy a “personal” meet and greet with Bill Elliott should phone 612-363-0479.

The cameras of Speed Channel will also be on hand for the opening night of the “Masters”. The Speed Channel cameras will catch all the action of the Friday program to be broadcast at later date.

The very popular Stacker2® “Pay Dirt” promotion, giving one fan a $1,000 cash prize, will also be part of the “Masters” week-end at Cedar Lake Speedway. Friday and Saturday fans may simply fill out an entry form at the YJ Stinger Extreme Energy Drink “Splash Of Energy” Tour display. After entry’s have been closed at least 24 names for all entry’s will be randomly drawn for the Stacker2® “Pay Dirt” $1,000 prize. The names drawn will receive a Stacker2®/YJ Stinger Gift Pack and will be matched with one of the feature starting drivers. If the lucky fan’s driver wins the “Masters” feature event that fan wins the “Pay Dirt” $1,000 cash prize.
