Advice needed on how to improve 4 cylender

I'm needing advice on how to get more speed oout of my hornet motor. My track prohibits any work done to computers, so that is out of the question. Any ideas are welcome, my car is a buick skyhawk. I'm aware that the motor is small compared to other hornets but I've got all winter to get speed and not much money to do it. Thanks in advance for the advice. Also how can I make a Honda motor appear to be a GM motor?

What else ya' got

The head is already off being shaved what else ya' got. Thank you for that tid bit though. I need more power, they are leaving me on the straights I'm able to keep up in the turns and am even able to gain ground coming out of them. But at the big end of the straights they run off and leave me. Thanks again for the advice. I've got a Honda Civic motor and I'm willing to put it in I just got to make it look like a GM Motor first
