Michael Bland of Pineville, WV finished in the runner-up position at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, TN on Saturday night. Bland is another driver utilizing the AFCO Crate Spec Shock Series in FASTRAK Racing Series sanctioned races.

“I am as happy as I can be with these shocks,” said Bland, “especially when you consider the cost. The AFCO shocks are definitely a step in the right direction for Pro Late Model racing.”

Bland piloted his 2011 Rocket chassis to a runner-up finish, his first time out on the AFCO Crate Spec Shocks. Bland ordered his shocks on a Monday and they were delivered by Wednesday. This makes the AFCO Crate Spec Shock Series the perfect choice for cost conscious racers.

“For drivers like me, with a low budget, the cost of these shocks allow for us to drive full time in late models,” continued Bland, “I only had one set of my old shocks, and if something happens to one of these I can replace it for what a rebuild on those costs”

The AFCO Crate Spec Shock Series retails for $186.99 each. Rebuilds for the shocks cost $50 and an additional $25 if it needs a new shaft. AFCO will be at several FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance races throughout the 2019 season to help teams who are using the AFCO Crate Spec Shock Series.

The driver highest in the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance points that is utilizing the AFCO Crate Spec Shock Series will be awarded a provisional starting spot in the $50,000 to win 2019 FASTRAK World Championship. The provisional starting spot will be awarded to the driver highest in points that fits the criteria that does not qualify to the A-Main.
