ALLGAIER MOTORSPORTS RECEIVES DISTINCTION FROM U.S. AIR FORCE

SPRINGFIELD, IL (March 21, 2005) - Allgaier Motorsports, an Illinois-based racing team that fields dirt late models, midgets and an ARCA RE/MAX entry with 18-year-old Justin Allgaier behind the wheel, recently learned that they were tapped to receive an important distinction - the "Air Force Salutes Award". This award, presented by the 345th Recruiting Squadron of the United States Air Force, acknowledges the exemplary efforts of Allgaier Motorsports in promoting the U.S. Air Force and will be presented in a ceremony at the season opening event of I-55 Raceway in Pevely, MO, on Saturday, March 26, 2005.

Allgaier Motorsports and the U.S. Air Force's 345th Recruiting Squadron aligned in 2004 for a joint effort to increase awareness about careers and opportunities available in the most sophisticated air and space organization in the world. The 345th Recruiting Squadron covers a six state region that Allgaier Motorsports regularly competes in including Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi.

Air Force Technical Sergeant Joel Langton with the 345th Recruiting Squadron's public affairs office at Scott Air Force Base, IL, stated, "The reason we are 'saluting' Allgaier Motorsports is because we have built such a great relationship with them. We feel privileged to be involved and they have never hesitated to go above and beyond for us. There are a number of people protecting America today because of Justin's influence."

"It has been a great honor for all of us at Allgaier Motorsports to work directly with the Air Force and particularly the 345th Recruiting Squadron and everyone stationed at Scott Air Force Base," said Allgaier Motorsports' spokesperson Michelle Petroff, who spoke on behalf of the young driver who is currently testing for his first attempt at a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event. "Both the racing community and Air Force personnel have been very supportive of our partnership and we have met great people from both sides during our events. We are extremely proud to be associated with an organization such as the U.S. Air Force that places the utmost importance in honorable values such as integrity, service and excellence."

Allgaier Motorsports has helped coordinate special trackside events that allow recruiters to interact with spectators, fans and crews. Justin's driving suit and the various race entries of Allgaier Motorsports are also emblazed with the U.S. Air Force logo. Additionally, Justin Allgaier has accompanied recruiters to several U.S. Air Force-backed events and special promotions for meet & greets and autograph signings.

Recipients of the Air Force Salutes Award are now eligible for other distinctions including the Trailblazer Award and the prized American Spirit Award, which is presented annually to a civilian or civilian organization that has displayed extraordinary support and patriotism through its support of the U.S. Air Force, their mission and ideals. Past recipients of these awards include the St. Louis Cardinals, Missouri Tigers, World Snowmobile Association, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and Bob Hope. Way to go Justin! We are so proud of you. :D Wish we could be there to see you get the award but it is a long trip the night before Easter and have very early Sunday morning obligations.

Hope the truck test at Martinsville is going well today and tomorrow.

Hope Mother Nature does not hamper this event, but it looks like it could.
Nice job with this effort, Allgaier Motorsports and Justin.
