allied cars at Brownstown??

Jimmy Cummins

CEO, Cummins Lumber Co.
I have been thinking about this all week. Where were the Belleville and Pevely cars at Brownstown for the special show? Were they scared they wouldnt be competitive? I say this, because the only real allied car there was Dave Bardin in the 71. Paul Belken was there also but I believe he changed some stuff. Dave did nothing to his car but put on EMODS and made the show thru the heat race. Emods in my opinion wouldnt make a huge difference anyways. I guess I am really just trying to challenge those drivers to try different tracks because you get good experience racing with faster cars. It has definitely helped me this year. Maybe a few of those cars will show up at the Labor Day show.

"The Snake" wins one feature and now he's throwing down the guantlet...lol

Hey Jimmy I never did see any results from the races on Monday, who won and how did you do?

I'm not sure why the allied guys didn't make it, shame they didn't. Dave Bardin was bad fast with his allied engine during the challenge of champions show.

the race was called due to rain, the track was HORRIBLE that day. You could see the cars reflections off the track, and they had to water the track inbetween races. All they ran was team cars, hornets, and bombers.

James, you Still On For A "little" Match Race Between A Low Life Tri City Late Model And The "new" B-town Hot Dog,i Belive Thats You Now???

Can't really blame the allied guys for not showing up it was a poorly run event and concider the cost if ya have 4 or 5 guys on yer pit crew you already have $300 to $400 bucks to shell out at the gate then buy atleast 4 new tires another $400. then ya still only have enough motor to qualify mid pack unless ya get lucky and pull a low pill.

Trashdog: Jimmy won the 4th Heat race! Then he ran 5th in the Dash because he broke his tie rod (with some help).

He was in the 5th starting spot for the Feature--they were lining up when the huge wind and rain hit. Tornado warning sirens went off! They got all of the people (me and a few others) still in the bleachers to go to a concrete block building to wait out the storm. Jimmy and Bruce, of course, were trying to put the car on the trailer.

Will someone please tell me how Charlie was supposed to try to get 2 days worth of racing in on one day, and then have a unpredicted storm show up when he's starting the Sportsman Feature race? They decided to race the Sportsman class last because with the cooler evening temperatures and the added water, the track was coming around. If it hadn't been for the storm, the Sportsman Feature would have been run, and Jimmy probably would have won it!

Don't go bad-mouthin' a promoter until you've walked in their shoes! Mother Nature is very unpredictable!

And that's all I've got to say right now.

Hey If You Think Your That Fast Become Allied Legal Again And And Run With Horton And Belkin, I Bet You Could N't With Guys Illegally Either
