Wheatland, MO (May 5th, 2010) - Officials with Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri are pleased to announce that ALPS Grocery Stores has signed on to sponsor a special $600 to win Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stock event on Saturday, May 15th. The winner of the event on May 15th will receive an additional $300 for the win bringing the total to $600, while an extra $100 will be awarded to the second place finisher and a random finisher will also receive an extra $100 on the night. The TNT Quick Shop Late Models and Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds will also be in action on May 15th as part of Big Surf Water Park Night at the Races.
ALPS (Always Low Price Stores) has been around the Midwest for many years and continue to experience progressive growth. The Owners of the newest ALPS Grocery Store, Norm and Terri Shaddox, Dan and Mona Pargee, and Chip Shaddox are in the process of turning the former SOS convenience store in Pittsburg into the newest ALPS Grocery Store. The facility will more than triple in size expanding from it's previous 3,500 square foot layout to over 11,700 square feet. Plans call for the new ALPS store to be the friendliest and cleanest store in the area with low price groceries, fresh produce, fresh meat, hardware, fishing supplies, discount cigarettes, pizza, fried chicken, and much more. "Our biggest emphasis will be the meat department and providing the customer with quality products and a friendly environment" stated Chip Shaddox. "We have always put the customer first in everything we do and look forward to serving the Pittsburg and Lake Area." Plans call for the store to be open in June of 2010.
