East Smethport, PA (July 12, 2014) Port Allegany night saw the MCR'S all-time street stock feature winner, Andy Michael back in victory lane, but this time In the RUSH Crate Late Model division. This was Michael's first ever crate late model feature win and was a very popular win. Al Brewer returned to victory lane for the second time this year in the Close Racing Supply Modifieds with Jeremy Williams getting his fourth win of the year in the Highway Auto Stock car feature. Art Peterson and Mitch Boylan also found their way into victory lane again.

Twenty one RUSH Crate Late Models were took the green flag with Michael and Albion, PA driver, Dennis Lunger Jr on the outside front row. Michael beat Lunger into turn one with Jason Knowles following in third. Point leader Chad Ruhlman quickly moved into third on the second lap giving chase to Michael and Lunger. Ward Schell of Warren, driving the famous Ron Baker #74 machine found himself in fourth on lap five as Michael began to open his lead up over the outsider, Lunger. At the halfway point it was Michael still in front and looking impressive as Schell now was up to third behind Lunger followed by Doug Ricotta and Mr. Excitement, Jeremy Wonderling making his presence felt in fifth. Ruhlman would come back and grab fifth from Wonderling on lap 12 as CFR applied pressure on Ricotta for fourth. The yellow lights would flash with three to go setting up a sprint to the finish. Michael refired the field in the Delaware restart with Lunger and Schell looking to get by the black and red #41 Lewy Kratts machine. A wild dash that saw Ruhlman try to get to the front using the outside to no avail allowed Brady Wonderling to sneak by and finish behind his teammate Ricotta at the line as Michael topped Lunger, who made the three hour trip. Schell came home a season high third with Ricotta and Brady Wonderling in fifth. Ruhlman came home sixth, collecting his second consecutive non top five finish of the year.

The Highway Auto Stock Cars have presented some excellent racing week in and week out all year. This week saw Kane's, Vaughn Nystrom take the initial lead on the start of the 15 lap event with Jeremy Williams quickly moving into second and taking the top spot on the second lap as Hinsdale's, Steve Sklar moved into second and Nystrom dropped to third. Sklar's good run quickly came to an end with a shredded right rear tire as the caution flew on lap four from the tire debris. The restart saw point leader Kurt Stebbins move into second behind Williams as the pair put on a great performance with Nystrom, Rich Wotjowicz and Butch Talbot all within striking distance. A debris caution on lap ten bunched the field back up and as the cars entered turn one, contact was made between Dennis Asel and Stebbins ruining their chance at defeating Williams and the yellow lights flashed for the pair. As the race restarted, another yellow was flown on lap 12 for Nystrom and Stebbins, ending both of their nights as they both went off the track on the hook. With the back to back cautions, Butch Talbot now was second and looking for his first win of the year. Williams restarted the event and led the final two laps over Talbot, Ted Mascho coming home a quiet third, Kane Stebbins was fourth and Dennis Cummings came home fifth in his first event moving up from the pure stock class.

Al Brewer of Belfast picked up his second win of the season after waiting 22 years since his last win at MCR. Brewer dominated the Close Racing Supply Modified division takin the lead on lap four from Joe Boylan. Boylan, the 2013 mini stock champion had a great second place run going till young, Adam Peterson made the runnerup position pass with four to go to come home second behind Brewer. Boylan was third and Carl Ballinger came home fourth.

Mike Parmenter and Art Peterson took Curtis Peters green flag with Peterson leading the field into turn one on the start over Parmenter and Joe Layfield in third. Dustin Raught moved into second on lap three and kept Peterson within striking distance and seemed to be closing in on Peterson. Lap eight saw disaster for Raught as he spun coming out of turn two in front of Jason Dobson who spun and kept the car going without stopping as the caution was flown and wasn't charged to be in caution. The restart saw Dobson and point leader, Roger Schweikart now on the bumper of Peterson but neither could mount a challenge for Peterson. At the finish, picking up his second win of the year was Peterson followed by Dobson, Schweikart, Raught came back to get fourth over Joe Layfield.

Lyndsay Carlson Jr set the pace at the start of the mini stock feature. Carlson lost lot of ground in turn three when the car got out shape handing the lead over to Kurt Babcock. Mitch Boylan quickly moved into second from sixth place with Chris Paar in third. Boylan and Babcock had a tight battle going on for the lead with Paar and Larry Mitchell Jr running each other hard for third. Boyland would get beside Babcock several times to no avail until lap 13 when Babcock would spin in turn three and see his car towed off the track with a undisclosed mechanical problem ending his great run and possible win. Boylan led the final two laps as Paar was able to defend Mitchell for second, Dave Lowe Jr came home fourth and Aaron Bartas was fifth at the checkered flag.
