Franklinton, Louisiana (7/16/09) – Voodoo Motorsports will be back in action this weekend with both guns blazing as David Breazeale and Scott Creel prepare to burn up the track!

Last weekend, Voodoo Motorsports entered a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Series events in Alabama and Mississippi with both team drivers in action.

On Friday night, July 10th the team was in action at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama in a $7,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Series event. With 35 Super Late Models on hand, David started 5th in his heat race and raced his way to a 4th place finish, earning him a transfer to the 40 lap feature event. In the feature event, he would start 15th and that's where he would finish when the checkered flag fell on the event.

Scott Creel was also in action at North Alabama Speedway on Friday night and started 8th in his heat race. He would only manage a 7th place finish in his qualifier, which pinned him deep in the starting grid for a b-main event. In the b-main he would finish in the 7th position, which was just short of a transfer to the feature, bringing his night to an end.

On Saturday night, July 11th, the team traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi for a $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Series event, which was taped by the Speed TV cameras. The event drew 47 Super Late Models. After finishing 7th in his heat race and struggling in the b-main, David was forced to utilize a provisional for the feature event. After starting 24th in the grid, Breazeale was picking off positions early in the event when contact from another competitor cut down one of his tires. After ducking into the pits for fresh rubber, he would rocket his way back to a 13th place finish in the 50 lap event..

Scott Creel would once again battle an ill handling race car as he fell short of qualifying for the main event after finishing deep in a b-main.

This weekend David Breazeale will ride his #54 Mastersbilt/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Series events. Festivities will get underway on Friday, July 17th at Tri City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Illinois with the Budweiser 50, paying $10,000 to win for Super Late Models.

On Saturday, July 18th, David will be in action at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri for another $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Series event.
