Arctic Blast Halts Lucas Oil Speedway Opener again

Wheatland, MO (April 5th, 2007)-Due to unseasonably frigid temperatures, Officials at The Lucas Oil Speedway have cancelled the racing action scheduled for April 7th.

Racing action will resume on April 14th at the "The Diamond of Dirt Tracks" with the highly anticipated Orscheln's Farm and Home MLRA/MARS Spring Thunder Late Model race presented by O'Reilly Auto Parts. The A-Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and B-Mods will also be in action.

The Chrome Shop Mafia has also been announced as a special guest for April 14th! Details to be released soon!

Tune in every Monday night at 6:30pm to KYOO 1200AM and 99.1FM for the Lucas Oil Speedway Radio show live from Smith's Restaurant in Bolivar hosted by Randy Bowman and Kevin Fletcher.

The Lucas Oil Speedway is a 3/8th mile; semi-banked clay oval located 5 Blocks south of US Highway 54, on State Highway 83, in Wheatland, MO.
