This was the event that was postponed because of electrical failures on July 17, with Arms and Brandon Green bringing the field to the green flag. Arms would immediately pull away, with Green second, while Hank Bradley and Kelly Warren racing for third. Dwight Chitwood would draw the second caution on lap 7 when he spun in turn one. Back under green, Arms would again quickly pull away, only to have another caution wave for a slowed Robbie Sanders, who had a flat right rear tire on lap 10. As the field went back to green, the battle for fifth would heat up as Jimmy Payne, Russ Gabbert, Leonard Pierce, and Anthony Reams would have a four way dance for that spot, only to have the final caution wave on lap 19 for a spin by Bill Oatts. The final 22 laps would see Arms pull away, while Bradley would get by Green for second, with Warren getting by Green a couple of laps later. Gabbert would win the battle for fifth and would also finally take fourth from Green with just a few laps remaining. Arms would take the checkered flag, with Bradley, Warren, Gabbert, and Payne completing the top five. The remainder of the top ten were Chitwood, Green, Pierce, Russell Childress, and Anthony Reams. Mike Marlar was the Racing Optics fast qualifier back on July 17 with a 13.315 second lap, with Crown Spray Power Heat wins going to Arms and Green, while Russell Childress won the O'Reilly Auto Parts B-Main that was contested for cars that were not in attendance on the original race date.
