ASCS Rocky Mountain Awards Banquet Set for November 17

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla. (November 2, 2007) – The American Sprint Car Series Rocky Mountain Region's 2007 Awards Banquet has been set for Saturday night, November 17, at Fat Fenders Grill in Englewood, CO.



Over the course of the night, 2007 ASCS Rocky Mountain Region champion C.J. Johnson of Quinter, KS, will be honored along with the season's other top ASCS Rocky Mountain Region competitors.



The evening's festivities will get under way with a cocktail hour from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. featuring a cash bar, followed by dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Following the awards presentations from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., there will be music, dancing and karaoke.



Tickets for the 2007 ASCS Rocky Mountain Region Awards Banquet, which include a barbeque dinner, are just $20 if ordered in advance. Tickets may be ordered by calling Sue Starr at 303-429-3974. Reservations must be made by November 10.



To help the kitchen staff prepare adequately, only a limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $25.

The 2007 season for the ASCS Rocky Mountain Region consisted of 17 events at eleven different tracks throughout Colorado, western Kansas, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nebraska and South Dakota, with C.J. Johnson becoming the seventh different series champion in as many years.
