Attn 4 cylinder cars! After much consideration, we have decided to open up the Pro 4 class. It seems that we are getting more mini stock type cars wanting to run with us, both front and rear wheel drives. Beginning Friday, July 12th we will be running OUTLAW Pro-4s! Any tire, any body and any naturally aspirated 4-cyl engine. No full tube frame type cars, must be a stock type chassis. There will be a weight limit, will post soon.

So since one car is illegal u r going to change the rules when everybody else is running the rules that were posted at the beginning of the year! That is favoritism for one car u r going to lose several cars I will not be coming back

This is funny because you guys are going to lose so many pro 4s on your track for this because half of the racers come from pevely and noone is going to change their car for 1 track. They will just stay at pevely like they said last night and save a good 75 to 100 dollars every week! I am just saying I think if that one car u changed for would come race with the pros at pevely they would send him back to the highway and wouldn't let him race because the 89 car is 110% ILLEGAL!

We are not changing the rules for 1 car. Half of the cars we have been getting are mini stocks, and there are at least 3 or 4 more in the immediate area that will come if they dont have to change their racing tires. This season we are trying the market to see what brings the best car counts. I am not saying that it is guaranteed that opening up the rules will help, but we have to try.

Jk.... But in my opinion... And I have no skin in the game at all... If you want to get mini stocks, you better clarify or someone will get retarded with engine.

I do not represent Benton Racetrack, these are my opinions only. This was done as stated, to help bring cars to the Benton Track. The now deceased Malden Speedway ran a format just like this. They had a mixed bag of everything. Pretty much the rules were 4 cylinder and 4 tires. They all ran pretty competitive with one another. As far as getting "retarded" with an engine, remember this class doesn't pay much at all. How much do you want to spend for that? Just give it time to grow. I do know there is a lot of mini stock type cars in the Benton area that have no place to run. Remember, I suggested to do this at the beginning of the season. As far as the Pevely guys, I don't mean to sound off on you guys. But if you think all the cars running there are legal, you might be surprised. We used to run there. And again this is my two cents. Thanks, Danny
