ATTENTION ALL FUTURE STARS TOUR TEAMS.
Insurance test Friday May 3rd at Volunteer Speedway. Although other classes are also practicing, you will get track time by yourself. At some point in the night when people feel comfortable we will evaluate you in a closed session.
Also, we will have a "fire escape" test. You will pull up in your car, turn it off and you have 45 seconds to be out and both feet on the ground. Just a heads up so you can be practicing this in the meantime. (3 layer suits give you 47 seconds in a real fire).
This test will be given to all participants in this class, not just the 15 and under.
All drivers will be evaluated on ability to drive and race with other drivers.
Never come on the track without your raceiver. Good idea to also listen to what is being said to the FT teams too. Give you an idea of what is expected of you during a race. I know a raceiver is new to most people coming out of
karting, but its at all dirt tracks now.
Every driver will need to bring their resume with them to this event. Every driver, in this class, must be a member to be insured.
Parents, please work with us and make sure you have everything 100% ready when you get there. We want your children to have a great time but above all else, we want them to be safe. You have been more than fantastic in working with us on the safety items required.
Oh and remember, this is being live streamed by speed51. We will work with you during this season to address public speaking and marketing for television.
