Attn Crate Late Models

dereck had already posted something a couple of days ago on midsouth but i will help bump it up.and i have been talking to people about coming out and supporting the track if they want a track to race that is close by.

well just looking over this and it was said not much of a change in mods except the tires which is true but you will need at least 12 extra tires to run at benton which is a extra big cost to any race team.. alot of racers cant run the Unlimited Money Pile rules.. its been tried before.. there is alot different between the cars.. maldens car count is not really struggling it had a good modified and crate count the main reason is it is called the ECONOMY.. not being able to race each weekend .. crate cars do not run at doniphan , maybe 1 or 2 mods do.. the reason they run atwood and west plains and other tracks is there is no closer track to run ..but with those rules i dont think many will come there because of the extra cost. malden crates are set up for nesmith rules along with west plains batesville and other tracks to run for points money and championship.i had a ump crate motor that was supposed to be legal and when i had it rebuilt i had to replace a cam, springs, valves and retainers to be nesmith legal,, not to bad but this motor was tore down at a ump track and declaired legal.. and i really have a serious doubt that it will be strict tech consistent calls and absolutely NO favortism calls, seen that been there before does not happen. i know some people were happy when benton said they were opening but when the rules showed up it was not good having to change cars for track to be able to run different bunch of rules.. hope to go there but depends on the rules

We have decided to run outlaw crate late models. Any car that is Nesmith or UMP legal is welcome to come and race and not change a thing. The D21, D55 and LM40 tires may be ran on rear and ANY Late Model tire may be ran on front. Rules should be posted on the new website soon. Thanks everyone for the replies and interest.
