Godfrey Speedway Is Offering A $200.00 Bounty On Steve Myers In The Albrecht Hamlin Modified Division. Steve Has Won Three Nights In A Row. He Has To Be Beat Fair And Square, He Cant Be Taken Out To Collect The Bounty.

Hope To See You There And Good Luck To All Drivers.

I dont think so, last year the driver the bounty was on had to finish the race. If he gets taken out, or breaks, no one gets the money!

Lets say driver A takes Myers out....and driver B wins the feature. Will driver B collect the bounty??

MOST REQUIRE THE GUY TO FINISH THE RACE. NOT ALL TRACKS ARE LIKE MEL KINNIARD WHO PAID OUT A BOUNTY LAST YEAR WHEN THE GUY DIDN'T RUN THE FEATURE. :D

To me if he breaks and you were beating him you should win the bounty it should be basically who ever wins the feature but JMO.

I think that if the driver the bounty is on breaks or doesn't make it to the feature, that the bounty should still be paid, because that's half the battle?!?!? Right?!?! Just my opinion!!!
OH, and to BIG-GUN, you just said on another post that you weren't bashing Rusty, what do you call your post on this one???????

Rusty Can He Will Take Everbody Out For $50 Bounty He Dont Run Clean At All Dirty Driver If You Ask Me -------harrison Rules---------------

Once again another anal retentive remark

I don't understand how BIG-GUN can think rusty is rough but Harrison isn't? they are both agressive but i think Harrison uses his front bumper more than Rusty. BTW how many features has harrison won this year?

I have to disagree about paying a bounty if the guy doesn't start or finish. Beat the guy racing. Not just by luck. Jmo

I agree, Harrison is pretty rough! Saturday night, after Driemeyer beat Harrison in the feature at Highland, the announcer was asking Driemeyer about Harrison being right on his back bumper and Driemeyer's comment was, Yeah, I had to hold on pretty tight a few times out there. Harrison loves to use that front bumper, or any part of his car to get around someone!!!!!!!! And now he has a side-kick that's not any different than him!!!!

BIG-GUN-
i agree with you harrison does rule but racing is racing. if no one wants to see bashing during racing then dont go to the races, that is what you are going to see when you go to the races. lol

eldon-
if you really want to see (or maybe it is just another thing to say to get people all crazy on here) how many features harrison has one, i believe there was a post on here a couple days ago about the top feature winners so go on that.

Now, I know not all this I'm referring to is on this post, but I'm only going to post this once.

I try not to get on this message board as much as I used to because for the most part, the bashing comes from people who are afraid to say anything to anyones face at the time and afraid to sign their name on here. I call this the STLracing b*tch board. I know this doesn't pertain to a lot of the users, but the constant bashing is what turns people away from what should be a nice way to communiate.

IF Melvin were to lap Griffaw in a Mod, I want to be there for that because the only way that will happen is if something is seriously wrong with Rusty's car! Not bashing Melvin at all, but come on!!! While we're on Griffaw, he has raced against Kinder and won. I'm sure I've seen him race against Schwartz too, but don't remember the outcome. BTW...congrats on the LM wins Saturday, I was worried when I heard that you were racing a LM that the mod would go to the crapper (because of trying to race 2 classes), but I guess not. Congrats again!

Now, for the Harrison BS on here, the guys decided the middle of last year already that they were not going to run for points anywhere this year, just race for fun and relax a little. If they were worried about points and how many features he could win you'd notice them out on Sunday too, instead my husband has been spending a lot of time riding dirtbikes with our son on Sunday. The race Saturday night at Highland was probably the 2nd most exciting race I had seen all year and if you talk to most people, they would say the same. Mike congratulated Ryan and shook his hand after the race, you forgot to mention that!!! For those of you who want to know how many features Mike has won, if I remember I will ask him to try to figure them up again. I figured them towards the beginning of 2004 (I think) and he had around 170 total FEATURE wins, so he should be around 200 now.

On a side note.....I "should" have the new Harrison shirts with the 2004 UMP Modified National Champion on the back by Saturday night (maybe even Friday) if anyone is interested they are $15.

Wow...I just asked one simple question! Some tracks handle their bounties differently and I just wanted alittle info....that's all...
