Keep Watching
Will one of you please put some paper towels & toilet paper in the ladies bathroom so my girlfriend has one less thing to complain about while we are at the races . Thanks in advance. :D :D :D

Some soap would also work as well.....I know you guys are doing what you can, but these things are a must with the kids and with women.

Thanks from me as well

Ok well it would be nice to have running water in the sinks to be able to use the soap and paper towels... Some nights there is water, and others there isnt.. so i just bring hand sanitizer to use, so i dont have to worry about having running water.

We need something a little softer......Newspapers are not the way to go.....way way too rough.....unless you are camping or fishing and a newspaper is ALL you have!! LOL

Theres been some problems with kids going into the bathrooms and vandalizing them with toilet paper and paper towels and stuffing the toilets with toilet paper to purposely make them overflow. And pushing the soap button 50 times so the soap goes all over the floor. Thats why there isnt enough supplies every time you come.

good point camry.....i have been there many times and they are mopping up the bathroom because kids have overflowed them, just bring your own tp...:)

Thanks camry for letting us know what is going on. Now we understand what exactly is going on......bring our own and hand santitizer!

Thanks again.

at least they try to see to your needs in da-krapper,,i remember going in the charlie bowls facilitys and not even having a LIGHT so you could see where you were GOING so to speak,,,

It sure would help (if) parents would watch there own children instead of turning them lose for everyone else to watch..you go to the restrooms and there is always a bunch of kids in there playing..I was in there one night and there was a young lady about 9 years old standing on top of the sink..you would think it was a play room for them..you can't blame the track if you don't have paper and at least there is enough water to wash your hands..best thing to do like Bittle89 said use a sanitizer..and the parents if you bring your children watch them don't expect everyone else to do so.

mel hemsath once said "ladies always sqeeze your charmin" the charlie bowl always had the tp all smashed out of shape so it would'nt roll off easy. it helped to prevent this problem. it also helps to wath your kids instead of letting them use it as a personl playground. when i was young we went to the track to watch racing not run around, play foot ball, and climb around like monkeys. and my mom made sure that we did. if we left we said where we were going and we were expected back asap or there was hell to pay

Has anyone taken the the time to wonder how the concession workers sanitize their hands after preparing the food the fans are eating? We carry our own cooler for that simple reason along with snacks. I think it's a real shame that parents aren't watching their children close enough and the adults (women) are suffering because of it. We've been to a lot of race tracks in and out of the area and they don't seem to have this problem. I'm not sure what the answer to this problem would be other than stricter enforcing and parents watching their children closer. Just my opinion.

I worked at a local track in the concession stand for 5 yrs and I can assure you the hands were washed and cleaned before touching or handling the food. I always made sure the other workers cleaned their hands cause of the very thought of someone with dirty hands touching my food is just sick and I can't stand it. Its a pet peeve of mine.....

You are correct...there is soap and sinks with running water in the concession stands. There are also plastic gloves to be worn as well.

Whoever brings the children to the races should watch them. Make them sit down, away from the fence to keep from getting hurt by dirt clods or cars, instead of rolling down the hill and tearing up the restrooms. If my kids had acted like some do they know what they had coming. Parents watch them for safety reasons too. Who wants to see a child hurt? Not me.
