(WYTHEVILLE, VIRGINIA) The B&B Motorsports team headed off in different directions over the November 13-15 weekend. Daniel Baggerly invaded the Travelers Rest Speedway in Travelers Rest, South Carolina on Friday and Saturday for the 'Grass Roots Nationals.' The Crate Late Model show paid $3,000 to the winner. Daniel, who has pledged to donate all of his winnings from the rest of the races in 2009 to injured driver Jeff Cooke, qualified fifth fastest to earn the inside third row starting spot for the A-Main. After suffering shock problems during the feature event, Daniel hung on to his #16 Barry Wright entry and wrestled home an eighth place finish.

Larry Blankenship took his #32 Super Late Model to the Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday, November 15 for the annual running of the prestigious 'Blue/Gray 100.' The O'Reilly Southern Allstars East Series sanctioned the premier event, which boasted a $10,000 payday. Larry wound up posting a respectable eleventh place performance in the 100-lap main event. You can view complete results from both races over the weekend by accessing www.trspeedway.net and www.southern-allstars.com.

As mentioned before, Daniel Baggerly plans to donate all of his winnings from the rest of the 2009 campaign to injured driver Jeff Cooke. The Spartanburg, South Carolina native was seriously injured while competing in the 'Topless Showdown' at the Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on November 4. Jeff is out of the hospital and is now recovering from the facial injuries at home.

"I got to know Jeff (Cooke) pretty well during the O'Reilly Southern Nationals the past couple of years and he helped me immensely both on and off the racetrack," quoted Baggerly earlier this week. "I wanted to do something to help Jeff and his family, so we have decided to donate all of our winnings for the rest of the year to them. Racing for a fellow racer seems like something he would appreciate. So far, we have earned $500.00 from Travelers Rest and we are actively seeking matching donations from sponsors and others in the racing community!"

Racing plans are currently up-in-the-air for the B&B Motorsports team this upcoming weekend. Daniel is leaning towards attending a $2,500 to win Crate Late Model race at the Modoc Speedway in Modoc, South Carolina on Saturday, November 21.
