Bad call lastnite!

INthe Minniestock Feathure A black flag was given to the 21 truck for spinning out the car in frount of it . My queston is why , since it was on the start of the race an a car mised a shife causing the car in frunt of the 21 to check up . Shoun"t there have a compleate restart foe the whole field ?

I need more information because I guess I'm not sure what you're asking..there was a complete restart.

Remember to leave 1 car length for every 10mph for stopping distance when somebody is on the brakes in front of you because all of the Wheelman fans are watching. Bill should start selling shirts down there because he was starting 4 rows back and all eyes were on him for those 2 seconds, so they must be Wheelman fans.:D

Is Bill out there creating problems???!! Has he caught on fire yet??? LOL... Go Bill Go.... I don't ever remember you getting a black flag. That's something totally new...

What to say....

Since I work at the track, I have been trying to decide IF I should post at all on this, but then I saw where Greg posted on SFCR forum and openly admitted that he was overruled on a call that he tried to make. Then I thought, I might work there, but I'm still entitled to my opinion. I didn't like or agree with the call then and after watching the video tape over and over and over and over again, I STILL don't agree with it! Heck, even the guy who was "taken out" said he knew it wasn't on purpose. He told Bill that he was hard on the brakes. On an initial start when cars are bunched together like that, if ONE car misses a shift, or has a problem, there is going to be an accordian affect behind him/her. Friday night, Brinley #24 missed a shift on the start, Ron said he was HARD on the brakes and the #21 truck had nowhere to go, BUT DID LIFT!!! I know everyone is saying that he didn't lift, but if he didn't lift, why were other cars flying around him on the outside? This same type thing happened at SFCR just the last time they raced. In the modified feature, the 4w of Sheppard broke coming out of 4 to take the green and Matt had to get hard on the brakes, and Brent got into Matt and so on back (but no one could help it). On a single file restart, a car has somewhere to go, but on an initial double file start, what is a person to do (besides lift, which he did). One can argue that I'm just saying this because Bill is my nephew and I'm playing favorites, but that's not the case. I tell him when I think he's pushing the limits and I tell Matt the same thing, but in this case I think he got a raw deal. Worst part of all is it was on a double points night. To take a guy out of a close points race with that type of call is robbing him of all his off season hard work and all he has done so far this season. Don't get me wrong, I like Ammo, Bruce, Greg, Bobby, Martha, Connie, etc (not saying who made the call) and I consider some of them to be true friends. I really enjoy working at the track (hopefully this won't get me fired), and I will continue to enjoy it in the future and still like the officials I work with. But, on this particular incident, they have their opinion and I have mine....and I think it was a bad call!

But, when it comes down to it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Thank You Fathful Fan

:D I know I am OLD , but I biddent think I was complete blind yet. One of those racing things ,any body can make a mistake but it takes a good person to addment it! p. s. Hope to be racing DO RUN if not this year next year.

Having raced against Bill and watching him the last 2 years I can say that he is one of the cleanest drivers out there. I can't comment on what happened Friday but if Bill got into Ronnie I bet he lifted.

His pitman on the other hand, he is kind of rough.;) :p :D

Crystal, you must remember, "opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one,
they are all different, and they all stink":D ....Love you, miss you, can't wait
to see you again....I'm thinkin' the next Rams meeting is at Fat Boy's
Maybe you & Mark can stop bye...Should be an interesting meeting with
all the recent controversy....

Bummer, guess "the powers that be" need to pick another location...
The BEST Rams meeting/Bar-B-Q/Party, took place @ the Eatons garage...

Thanks, Bob...

Thank you for the kind words, Bob. I was beginning to think that you had forgotten about me. I miss you too but hopefully I will get to see you in the near future. I think Bill is gonna race up there on the next holiday weekend and I think Mark and I will BOTH try to make it for the Sunday show.

If they have the next RAMS meeting somewhere in our neighborhood, we may try to stop by, just to talk to old friends, not that we care what is going on in the RAMS......same ol, same ol someone always b!tch!ing about something. It could be an interesting meeting though. You're definitely right about one thing......the BEST meeting we ever had did take place at the Eaton's garage. That was some good times!

It's always the pit guys that you have to watch, they're the ones with the jack handles.:D

Right Bob?:D

actually I mentioned the above meeting in hopes that
it would turn into a yearly event;) ;) Good friends, GREAT food,
and a lot of fun & memories....Wouldn't have to be a Racing Assn.
meeting, just a bunch of friends who have kinda went in different
directions.....I would consider having one here, but everyone would
have to give Tyrone $5 to watch your car so it doesn't get stripped..
Trouble with that, theres no one to watch Tyrone:D

Ya know, Bob...

That actually doesn't sound like a bad idea. We might just have to have a good ol' BBQ at the garage with good friends, GREAT food, alot of fun, and make new memories to go along with the old. I wouldn't be interested in having a Racing Assn. meeting but would be interested in getting the old gang together for some good times. We'll have to wait for the weather to cool down a bit because right now nobody I know is willing to get behind a grill. I'll keep ya posted on it. One thing is for sure though......alot of us have kinda went in different directions over the past year. And another thing that is for sure...we all still love each other. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather so we can have our next bonfire at Shannon's house. Who's making the piniatta (sp?)???? That was GREAT!!!!

Lisa and myself will give the pinata another go around. I was thinking of doing one like a S-10 with a 9 " Ford rearend under it.....LOL

Or maybe a corner man with a black flag....
Bet "The Wheelman" would take a swing or two:D :D
