Vicksburg, MS (02/23/10) – After a few weeks to regroup from his Winternationals assault, Bub McCool will be returning to action in his #57J McCool Logging/Trakstar/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model this weekend in the 13th Annual Bama Bash at Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama.

After a few years absence from the Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Florida) and Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida), Bub invaded the Sunshine State to make some early season noise. However, as it would turn out, the Vicksburg, Mississippi driver would spend most of the time behind the eight ball battling mechanical issues. During his time in Florida, he would accumulate a pair of 13th place finishes.

Bub will look to get his season on track this weekend, February 26th-28th, as he travels to Dennis Harker’s Green Valley Speedway in Glencoe, Alabama for the 13th Annual Bama Bash. The festivities get underway on Friday with an Open Practice Session. Time trials and heat races will be held on Saturday with consolation and b-main races slated for Sunday. The finale pays $10,000 to win, and the entire program is sanctioned by the Southern Regional Racing Series.
