This year's Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale Arizona was full of surprises and some not so surpirsing buys. "Hemi" was the key word. No shocker there. Saw a guy purchase a beautiful Caddy for a steal, while some some reproducions without any original parts left, went sky high. Actor Tim Allen bought a very nice pickup with the final bid comming in at $70.000. If you missed it on Speedvision this year, check it out in '05.

I missed it!! RacingChick and I were talking the other night, while she was watching it. I got the play, by play. But it just wasnt the same as seeing those cars roll on, and off the stage... Maybe next year!!!
