(ZANESVILLE, OHIO) The Bart Hartman Racing team took last weekend off from slinging dirt, but don’t think for a second that they took it easy. The team has spent the last several days moving into a new shop, which will house all of their equipment and their UrgentCash / Gress Oil / Imler’s Poultry sponsored #75 Rocket / Cornett Grand Prix’s. You can take a look at a few pictures of the new Zanesville, Ohio shop by visiting www.barthartman.com. The pictures are located on the home page of the site.

“The move sure wore all of us out,” said the popular Buckeye state driver on Monday. “We have a lot of the machinery and equipment moved, but we still have some to go. There will be more pictures posted on the website as soon as the move is complete. The new shop gives us a lot more room and I am very excited to start working out of it.”

Former “Dirty Dozen” member Hartman will make his first appearance with the World of Outlaws Stacker2 Late Model Series this season, as he will be in action in a pair of WoO events this weekend. Bart, the “Dirty Dozen”, and many of the top teams across the eastern seaboard will converge on the historic Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA this Friday night. The $10,000 to win event this Friday will mark the third time the WoO Series has visited the 1/2-mile, high-banked clay oval and the first time this season.

While on the WoO tour full-time in 2004, Bart drove to a sixth and a seventh place finish at Lernerville last season. All of the exciting World of Outlaws Stacker2 Late Model Series action from the Lernerville Speedway on April 29 will be taped by the SPEED Channel cameras for broadcast on May 14 at 3:00 p.m. E.D.T. You can learn more about this event by logging onto www.lernerville.net and www.woolms.com.

The second event of the doubleheader weekend will be held Saturday at Frank Plessinger’s Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD. The $10,000 to win ‘Stanley Schetrompf Memorial 50’ this Saturday night will also mark the third time that the WoO Series has invaded the popular 1/2-mile, semi-banked clay oval. Bart finished third and twelfth in the two WoO shows at Hagerstown last season.
