I noticed that on the Belle-Clair Speedway site, no finish was listed for the Sportman or Pure Stock heats and dash for July 2. I know the features were rained out but does this mean that no points are awarded for the heats and dash??
They get points, but big points come from the feature. The features for those classes got wiped out by Mother Nature. They did run teir heats and dashs. Go to the rsults section for that info.
I have heard they are going to split the pure stock pay-out among all the cars that made the feature. I think they should also split the feature points or give them points based on how they lined up for the feature plus give them their heat and dash points. That would at least be fair for the drivers who were there. They did do a great job of moving the show along.
