Hell better yet mabye i should just dig my car out of the shed and do him like he did matt and see how he feels but oh yeah im not liked at belleville! So i will get thown out for good like he ahould have been
 
I dont really care what you think of me, and I would of kept my mouth shut if Kramer wouldnt of told me he had to run you off at his place for running your mouth about me, so if you have a problem come to me or shut your mouth.

p.s. go to classic auto body tomorrow and ask for Ray (my main sponsor and friend), and tell him to his face what you said about his driver and truck he worked hard on

I feel bad for Matt and his crew but what happened before, during, or after the crash had nothing to do with the officials allegedly being corrupt or on a power trip.

Hell, I've seen them put Donnie Klein back several times and he's on the Board.

they even put me to the back one time Talker guy now CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT? If Matt had gotten to Bob I think he would have been very sore this morning. I am sure that would not have worked out to go for him or Modsquad3s either one. Bob may be over 70 but..........anyways I am just glad Matt is ok. The car can be replaced, hard to replace a driver.

Ok this is D.J. Cygan Driver of the # 10 L.M. Not the D.J. that is posting on this situation. i don't need anyone else being angry with me i do good enough by my self.
I wasn't there but from the pictures it looks like Matt took a ride. Glad to hear he is ok.
 
DRIFTER,,i wants to restore the B7 wedge car of bo smith,,the one he won a fair show with at hi-land but the powers to be that RULE OVER the vintage cars said no,,never mind that the car would be a fan pleaser JMO

Yep i found garvis baslers old flat sided modified an original old race car but nope its not a 2x4 car.... NOT LEGAL!!! But overlooking the fact its an original old race car! But some people can go to new york and get a trailer full of center steer cars put coup bodies on em and they are legal! I though the whole deal was restoring old local cars and putting on a good show for the fans.... You think the fan can tell its a 2x3 car! Doubtfull....
 
Them better be old centersteers or they won't run either...all the club cars are from 70's or 80's as far as I know. Even then, some have had modifications to them to meet the rules. As fireball stated, you can add 1x2 along the bottom of the frame and make it legal...then you don't have to change anything else from original. Thats what they did to the old Hammerle car, and Joe Hauck's barracuda.

Yeah i just love the old flat sided big modifieds thata what i grew up watchin when i was a kid and thought it would be cool to have one but i dont feel like dealing with that particular "club"s bs.... I guess i have just became spoiled over the last few years of boat racing everyone is friendly anyone will help anyone people dont cheat and complain about everything and crash each other.... Took one night back at the dirt track to realise how much i dont miss it
 
To each their own, but I can assure you that I don't deal with any of that BS with our club... The rules have been the same since we started, we don't tolerate rough driving at all, for the most part it's more a family/friends atmosphere in our pits. There have been a few incidents along the way and occasionally there is a little tension but in less than average amounts I believe... I've had more fun with GVRA than any other class that I've been involved with. And while theyre stickler for rules like the 2x4 frame rails...they aren't nearly as strict as some clubs out there. Our rules are wide open compared to most.
 
2x4 is mostly to keep the late model, mod frames out, alot of the clubs are running old bodys on late model frames and mod frames, nothing vintage about it. As for the center steers, they were ran in the old days. The one my dad drives was built by bob and rick england in the early 80's and sat behind our garage for atleast 10 years before he touched it, and dont know of anyone hauling in a trailer load, but as long as they follow the rule book there good.
