is belleclair speedway..still racing next yr , cuz some friends said they were gonna open at all next yr 2005, n i wanna know before i start on my motor :confused:
 
Now that rumor takes the cake! Belle-clair is coming off of a record setting year. I think the record car count was broken three or four times! They spent tons of money repainting the whole facility!

Yes yes yes Belle-Clair is running in 2005 and long there after! There are a some new and exciting things coming in 2005 for all classes. Build your motor and stay tuned!
 
Sounds like a rumor started by a Godfrey fan somewhere else and spread to this board. Anyone who visited BelleClair Speedway in 2004 know what kind of a record season it was. If there is any Friday night track closing, it's a little farther north than St. Clair County! :) I can't wait to hear what the surprises are for 2005. I guess we have to wait till the Jan. rules meeting?? Thanks Don.

They've Were Racing There Long Before My Time. I Figure They Will Be Long After It Also.

It's Kinda Funny How Many People I've Heard Call The Place A Sh-t Hole. But, From The Crowds And Car Counts I Saw There All Year(The Best By Far). That Doesn't Say Much For The Other Friday Night Tracks In The Area!
 
godfrey couldnt shake a stick at belleville in 2004 the only thing they had on belleville was an extra class they didnt have the fan and driver support belleville did thats wut makes it one of the best tracks around is the way they conduct bussiness the fans come to see a good show the promoter does his part and works in the track the concessions make food the crews get the cars set up and ready to run and the drivers go out there and race door to door every race and everyones happy and i know alot of drivers that stay afterwards for the fans so no matter wut 99.9% of the time in 2004 everyone left with a smile on their face jmo,
 
Belleville is by-for the best show on Friday nights. Ive been to them all.The other tracks cant come close. period!
 
They are actually spending money on the facilities that's always a sure sign they plan on being around for a while.

Rumors like that really make you wonder....... If there is a racetrack around here that has more "character" than Belle Clair I don't know where it is. I never got to see the "Charlie Bowl."
