Benefit for former racer, Bill Gaither

Bill Gaither and his family need your help. Bill drove the #14G sportsman at Godfrey and Tri-City several years ago and was a corner flagman at Godfrey in the 2003 race season. Bill and his wife Jamey have 4 children under the age of 14. Bill has been in the hospital since August 14 suffering from pancreaitis. He has been in ICU at Barnes Jewish since August 16. He has had several medical complications including being on a ventilator for several weeks. Upon leaving the hospital he will go to a rehab center for physical theraphy for awhile. The doctors do not know if or when he will be able to return to work. A benefit is planned to help the family.

WHEN: Saturday November 6
WHERE: Alton Moose Lodge
526 E. Delmar
TIME: 4PM-??
PRICE: $10.00 per ticket in advance, $15.00 per ticket at the door
Food and beer included in the price of ticket
DJ, silent auction, 50/50 and door prizes

I was wondering how he was doing. I helped pass around a helmet at Godfrey one night and came on here asking how he was doing, but no responses.
I am glad to here that he has pulled through.
Is this the Moose Lodge back there behind Target?
Who will be the DJ out there?

Thanks for asking about Bill. This is his sister Paige Glover. He has improved alot since we passed the helmet at the track. The Moose Lodge is behind Target in Alton. Hope to see you there. And again thanks for the help passsing the helmet at the track.
 
Wow..sorry to hear this. He was a good driver..had a good car too. Is there anywhere we can send donations? Dont know if i can make the benefit deal..but ill try.
