Benton Street Stock Rules

There has been alot of discussion lately about combining classses to allow racers more track options without spending a bunch of money to change their cars. This is something that I believe in, so many cars are so close with only a few variiations that we CAN combine some of them in hopes of increasing car counts and giving guys more tracks to race at. Our track seems to be the perfect venue to try some of these ideas and see how it works. We did this with our Limited Mod class and we have had races won by both of our engine options, it works. That being said, we are doing the same thing with our Street Stock and Sportsman classes.
We have decided to allow the northern Pure Stock cars to compete in our street stock class. If you are legal at your home track with the 350 flat top, big chamber heads and rochester carb, you may come and race and be exempt from the vacuum rule. We already allow Hoosier E-mod "A&H" tires along with asphalt scuffed take-offs.
A couple cars came down and raced a few weeks ago and they are all so close that there is no reason not to allow everyone to come and race.
