Berck Claims NCRA Late Model Season Opener!

McCool Junction, Nebraska – May 26, 2012 - Former two-time series champion Kyle Berck kicked off the 2012 season opener for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model division by picking up the victory Saturday night at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Nebraska.
Thirty-three drivers from three different states were on hand for the season opener but it was Berck, aboard the Strobel Manufacturing sponsored KBMR chassis, who kept Denny Eckrich at bay that last half of the feature to claim the victory.

Denny Eckrich did come home second with Travis Dickies third, Dave Eckrich fourth and Tad Pospisil rounding out the top five for his best series finish ever.
Mike Marushak claimed “B” feature honors.

The next appearance for the NCRA late model division will be a 4th of July weekend double-header kicking off at 81 Speedway in Park City on Tuesday night, July 3rd before making a trip to the Garfield County Fairgrounds and Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma on Wednesday night, July 4th.
