Inside Line Promotions - ELDON, Mo. (April 24, 2019) - Seth Bergman scored a pair of feature victories last weekend by winning on Friday at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., and on Saturday at Lake Ozark Speedway.

"Those are the weekends I feel like I'm capable of every weekend," he said. "We were prepared and I was ready to do my job and we had two tracks that were racy. We had a good race car and I did my job. When you have a good car and a driver who makes good decisions you put yourself in position to win races."

The weekend started on Friday with an ASCS Sooner Region and NCRA Series event at Humboldt Speedway, where Bergman finished second in a heat race to make the feature redraw. He pulled the third-highest number - six - to line up on the outside of the third row for the A Main.

"I was worried about the track taking rubber at some point," he said. "I wanted to make moves early. The track ended up staying around and it was racy. The restarts really gave me an opportunity to make a move for the win. The last restart I learned enough from the previous two restarts to get into position into turn one. I was trying to figure out how to get off turn four with the leader to have the speed to slide him. After two restarts of learning I was able to stay with him to slide him into turns one and two."

Bergman led the final 10 laps to garner his first triumph of the season.

He backed it up on Saturday at Lake Ozark Speedway, where he powered from fifth to win a heat race. Bergman started on the outside of the front row in the main event and took the lead approximately a third of the way through the feature en route to the win.

"(Jonathan) Cornell led the first six or seven laps before I drove around him on the top," he said. "We had a good race and I got going on the top and was able to clear him. He hung with me for a while racing on the bottom. The lanes were pretty equal. It was a good race track. I was committed to the top. Everybody was running the middle or the bottom so it gave me my own lane up top."

Bergman is scheduled to tackle Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour races this Thursday at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., and Friday at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo. He was victorious during his most recent race at both tracks, winning an ASCS National Tour show at Eagle Raceway in May 2015 and an ASCS Warrior Region event at U.S. 36 Raceway last July.
