(OMAHA, NEBRASKA) Bill Koons Motorsports, based in Omaha, Nebraska, is extremely excited to announce today the hiring of long-time crew chief Bryan Larimore. Bryan has worked for many years with the Shop Quik Racing team and driver John Anderson, but recently departed from the #2 team and has now joined Bill Koons Motorsports. Bryan looks forward to working with last year's MLRA Championship team, including owner/driver Bill Koons and son Billy Koons, Jr., who recently took the place of Al Purkey in the team's #33K racecar.

"I am very happy to announce that we have hired Bryan (Larimore) to be the crew chief of Bill Koons Motorsports," commented Bill Koons earlier today. "He had a lot of different options once he decided to leave the Shop Quik team, so I feel very fortunate that he will be turning the wrenches on our equipment. I look forward to working with Bryan and his knowledge and work ethic will help our team immensely."

Both Bill Koons and Billy Koons, Jr. will take the next two weekends off from racing action, but will return to competition over the annual 'Cornhusker Classic' weekend at the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska on September 24-26.
