Lebanon,Mo.-The High-banks of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway is gearing up for one of the biggest events ever in it's history as the O'ReillyAutoParts MARS Racing Series will be sanctioning the Bill Willard Memorial as over $70,000 in prize money will be up for grabs.In a different style of qualifying that only Mooney Starr can do-The MARS LateModels will be running heats on Friday Night with the top 20 in passing points to run a 25 lap feature.The top 10 finishes in that feature have a chance to lock themselves into the richest paying purse in MARS History as it will pay 10,000 to win and 1,000 to start.Should a driver think that he might have a better chance of improving his spot for Sat Nights 50 lap Main Event,he can option to try to requalify on Sat Night,as the samw type of format will be used to determine the outside rows.22 cars will start this historic feature as 2 spots will be used for MARS points provisionals.
The crowd will be treated to the best that the Midwest has to offer as the IMCA LateModels will make there first appearance at the track in a $1500 to win feature on Sat Night with qualifying heats to be run on Friday Night.Modifieds will run heats on Friday Night along with FactoryStocks,SuperStocks,and Bombers.Payoffs for this event is the highest ever in the history of the Ozarks FINEST Facility.Modifeds will be racing for 1500 to win and 150 to start.FactoryStocks and SuperStocks running for 800 to win and 125 to start and the Bombers will race for 400 to win and 60 to start.
Friday Nights activities will also include a pigroast sponsored by Lebanon Ready Mix for all those who purchase a pit pass after the racing is finished Friday Night.
Prices on Friday Night in the Grandstands are 10 for adults(benched back seats!!),13-15-$5 and 12 and under FREE while pit passes on Friday night are $25 for adults.Gates will open at 5PM with racing at 7:30 SHARP
