Sikeston, Missouri (10/18/06) – After a weekend of Street Stock racing, Billy James will strap back into his familiar #5jr Rocket/Robinson Racing Engines/James Excavating Super Late Model and be in action at the 3rd Annual Cotton Pickin’ 100 at Magnolia Motor Speedway this Friday and Saturday, October 20th-21st.
This past Saturday night, James was asked at the last minute to pilot a friend’s Street Stock in the $2,500 to win event at Poplar Bluff Speedway in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The event drew 42 cars. Billy qualified for the feature and came away with a 7th place finish.
This weekend will find James-Robinson Motorsports making their first ever trip to challenge the black ice at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus Mississippi for the 3rd Annual Cotton Pickin’ 100, which pays $15,000 to win and $1,000 to start.
