Officials of DIRT MotorSports have agreed to a request by Brian Birkhofer to be released as a member of the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series “Dirty Dozen”. Shane Clanton of Locust Grove,GA has agreed to take Birkhofer’s spot among the “Dirty Dozen” for the ’05 season. Clanton, who is gunning for the “Rookie of the Year” title with the World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series, garnered his first career World Of Outlaws victory May 8, 2004 at North Georgia Motor Speedway. “We totally understand and respect Brian’s request to be released as a member of the 2005 ‘Dirty Dozen’”, stated DIRT MotorSports COO Bobby Hartslief. “We have no animosity against Brian and his feelings are the same towards us. Brian just found himself in a situation that unfortunately happens. Brian will support us at 60% to 70% of our events during 2005. We wish Brian the best and welcome him to race with us any time.”

Clanton is a welcome addition to the 2005 World Of Outlaws Stacker 2® Late Model Series “Dirty Dozen” according to Hartslief. “We are extremely glad to have Shane and the Ronnie Dobbins race team as part of the ‘Dirty Dozen’.
