A big field of cars rolled into the pits of Central Missouri Speedway as drivers and race teams prepared to battle it out as CMS presented RSC Race Night on Saturday evening.

Modified hot shoe Dustin Boney was looking to take home the Budweiser Progressive $, but Fulton, MO's Gary Blackburn Jr. spoiled those plans as he was able to best the field of forty-nine drivers to take home the win and increase his already sizeable points lead. Blackburn started on the pole of the twenty lap affair and quickly bolted to the lead until Kansas City's Richard Layne wheeled his machine to the top spot on lap 4 with Blackburn, Chad Lyle, and Dustin Boney in tow. Lap 6 saw Lyle jump to the second position only to lose the spot back to Blackburn three laps later. Lyle's night would come to an end on lap 13 as a broken axle sidelined his machine and the fight for the front became a three way affair. Blackburn moved back to the top spot on lap 14 and the field was slowed a lap later for a flip by Robbie Test in turn 2. Test was ok, but he was done for the evening. From that point on Blackburn was able to hold off Layne and Boney as both attempted runs at the leader. At the checkered flag Blackburn lead Layne across the line by one car length while Boney had to settle for third with Bobby Layne and Dean Wille rounding out the top five. Gary Blackburn Jr., Richard Layne, Dustin Boney, Chad Lyle, Alan Deatherage, and Brian Johnson were able to garner heat race wins with James McMillin and Tom Charles taking wins in the two B features.

The Limited Late Model division had a repeat winner as Shawn Williams wheeled his machine into the Winner's Circle at the end of the 15 lap feature. Williams started outside of row three and steadily moved his way up the ranks as the race progressed. A lap 7 caution found Kevin Coyne running in the front followed by Steven Clancy and Williams who quickly moved into the runner up spot after the restart. Coyne looked to be able to hold off the challenge of Williams, but his machine got out of shape on him and although he was able to make the save it allowed both Williams and Clancy to sneak past. Williams was able to build up a small separation over the field during the remaining laps and zipped under the checkered flag for the win. Clancy held on for second with Coyne, Ryan Lovercamp, and Jason King filling out the top five. The two heat races contested were taken by Kevin Coyne and Jason King.

The RSC Street Stock Bash saw twenty two drivers take to the track looking to take home the extra cash that was on the line. In the end the visit of Ashland, MO's David Bentlage paid off for him as he was able to come home with the win. Bentlage started outside the front row, but it was polesitter Bob King who was able to move to the point as the race began. King held onto the top spot until Bentlage moved past on the fifth circuit. Marc Carter moved past King a lap later to take over the runner up spot and set his sights on running down Bentlage. Carter was able to pull within two car lengths of the leader, but Bentlage held on for the win in his first visit ever to Central Missouri Speedway. Following Bentlage and Carter across the line were King, Wayne Harper, and Fred King Jr. to round out the top five. Heat race action saw Dan Colhour, Bob King, and Wayne Harper take home the honors on the evening.
