Pevely, MO (July 8, 2006) Bobby Bittle of Smithton, IL stormed to another victory in the UMP Modified division to extend his commanding point lead in that division. Rick Stevenson assumed the lead in the opening laps from the pole position and led the first twelve circuits until Bittle worked his way to the front. Bittle then drove away from the pack to pick up the win. Stevenson then held off former multi-time track champion Scott Weber in the closing laps to earn his season best second place finish. Weber took the third position with Jerry Grither and Mark Miner completing the top five.
