Highland, IL – 1/27/2010 – Bobby Dauderman Racing is proud to announce their efforts to help raise money for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight to end breast cancer. Participants commit to raise at least $2,300 and spend several months training to prepare for the event. They devote the entire three-day weekend to the cause. Since its inception in 2003, nearly $500 million has been raised through Komen 3-Day for the Cure donations, contributions and sponsorships.

Through a local 3-day Team known as “Every Mile a Mammary,” BDR hopes to bring awareness and support to a continuing problem faced by many families. All proceeds raised by BDR will go toward supporting the “Every Mile a Mammary” team as they participate in San Francisco’s 3-Day walk held Oct. 1-3, 2010. BDR is currently working with several local tracks to set up collection nights at select events throughout the 2010-racing season.

“Every Mile a Mammary” will also be holding many fundraisers through out the upcoming year, including a benefit on March 6, 2010 in Collinsville, IL. The nights events include, a silent auction, dinner catered by Outback Steakhouse, “Date for a Cure”/Oral Auction, and music by Millennium. You may purchase advance tickets by emailing Steve Bartels @ sbartels@truckcentersinc.com or calling him @ 618-920-7568 before 2/14/2010. Tickets for this event are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

A little information about the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure from their website,
